Background
A managing director with over 10 years of experience building new business practices, Kat Hunt leverages her sustainability and financial expertise to help corporate clients achieve decarbonization strategies and climate technology firms achieve strategic operational growth. By working at the intersection of emerging technologies and established companies, Kat focuses on finding the collaborative and efficient path to a lasting climate transition.
Prior to joining Earth Finance, Kat ran an advisory practice, Nadair, where she advised and ran strategic growth and operations across software and hardware climate technology startups. Kat was also a founding member of PwC's ESG and sustainability practice, advising clients on climate data and expected ESG reporting requirements. She's also built and scaled key operational departments: Dropbox's revenue generation team and Beauty Counter's EHS/product development department.
Kat has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a B.S. in Environmental Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a licensed CPA in California.
